Catholic North Church -- Xishiku Church, also is called Salvador Church that means Christ Church. At first it is located west of Zhonghai of Zhongnanhai, at Canchikou, west of Ziguang Pavilion, so it is also called Canchikou Church. Later it was moved here as Catholic North Church and is now the largest Catholic Church in Beijing Parish. The style of the building is the typical Gothic style,and it is famous for its grand building. Two tablet pavilions with green glazed tile roofs were built on the left and right sides in front of the church,with stone columns and stone lions surrounding and guarding it,adding the architectural style of Chinese gardens.
