Greek cultural exhibit opens in Beijing
To mark China-Greece cultural exchanges and a year of cultural industry cooperation, the Eureka - Ancient Greek Science, Art and Technology Exhibition was opened at the China Science and Technology Museum on November 3.
The exhibition will last four months, during which visitors can get a closer look at samples of ancient Greek civilization. Presented by the Museum Herakleidon in Athens, a total of 53 models, covering various aspects of ancient Greek society, including ship design, weapons, infrastructure and astronomy, are on display.
Yin Hao, the president of the China Science and Technology Museum, Paul Firos, the founder of the Museum Herakleidon, and diplomats from the Greek Embassy attended the event.
