Of the 9.84 billion yuan, 0.51 billion yuan was spend on public security, increasing 21.6% compared to 2007. 1.16 billion yuan was on social security, increasing 7.5% compared to last year. 0.93 billion yuan was spent on medical care and public health, increasing 25.2% compared to 2007. 3.25 billion yuan was spent on urban and rural community work, increasing 27.1% compared to 2007.
