After I was awarded an Honorary of Merit by Beijing Municipality, I posted a blog on China web expressing my thanks.  And my American friend George Jundt emailed me a note of congratulations and a comment as follows:
 
The Honorary Certificate of Merit that was awarded, recently, to Mr. Yun-kun Wang for appreciation for his distinguished service as adviser to eBeijing International by Beijing Municipality was timely and deserving.  Mr. Wang has spent countless hours in this capacity and has done a marvelous job as adviser.  The articles posted in the eBeijing by Mr. Wang and others are of great interest to readers internationally.  The number of internet "hits" received in responses to the articles, alone, indicates to me the wonderful usage of this media by his blog.  Congratulations, Mr. Wang.  A job well done.
