Hello, everyone. I am Xuli, a volunteer served E-Beijing website. Being a Beijinger, I have been living in this city for more than 20 years. It is a pleasure to tell my stories happened in this city.

Beijing is a beautiful city although the sky is not that blue and the traffic is not that smooth. People are very hospitable here and like to help those from other places in the country. I am living very near to the Temple of Heaven and HongQiao Pearl Market. So there are lots of chances of meeting with foreigners in my neighborhood. If a foreigner gets lost in his way, I am sure that we hospitable Beijngers will step up to help him.

Next, I would like to say something about my work in Beijing.

Beijing is an open family. The city provides a good working environment full of challenge and passion. Everyone puts his shoulder to the wheel in order to create social value and wealth. Everybody wants to be the first in this competitive environment with increasing intensity. The city provides a broad platform to everybody living and working here. It means that everyone will be faced with more opportunities and challenges. I believe that everybody will write a brilliant chapter for his career if he catches opportunities and contributes himself to it.

The company I work for is a warm team. During the working time, I recognize that learning is very important and the process of working is the process of learning. I am faced with new concepts and technology everyday. So I must learn by myself and from colleagues in my department and other departments while working, in order to do the task well. I want to thank my colleagues for the warm smiles. I appreciate my achievement in this interdependent and companionate family.

I understand that all of these rest on the environment I am living in. Back to the past and looking toward the future, I will be more confident in success of myself as well as that of Beijing.
