Border Inspection Office Urges Passengers to Arrive at Terminal 2 Earlier

From March 28, many international airlines at the Beijing Capital Airport will implement a changed Spring & Summer Flight Schedule, with most airlines taking off earlier. The Border Inspection office reminds outgoing passengers that if you prepare to leave the country from Terminal 2 of Capital Airport by the international flights taking off before 9:00 am or from 11:00 to 13:00, please arrive at Terminal 2 about an hour earlier.

According to analysis by the Border Inspection office, the flow of outgoing passengers at Terminal 2 will peak 30 minutes earlier than before, and correspondingly the office has adapted policies to fit this traffic pattern. Outgoing passenger traffic will shift to peaks mainly from 7:00 to 8:30 and 10:00 to 12:00 in the morning. During these periods of time, the quantity of passengers waiting for inspection is anticipated to be large, and the waiting time will be relatively longer.

If you find that the number of passengers waiting at Border Inspection is large and your flight is boarding please go though the expedited Border Inspection channel to save time.
