China and Singapore Bilaterally Increase the Scope of Visa Exemptions
 

The Beijing General Entry and Exit Border Inspection Office gives notice that, from April 17, 2011, Chinese and Singaporean citizens holding diplomatic passport, service passport, or service ordinary passport are exempt from previous visa requirements when they enter, transit or stay less than 30 days in the corresponding country. Chinese citizens planning to travel to Singapore should please take notice of the related policy developments and prepare accordingly.

For Singapore citizens who hold an ordinary passport, the previous visa-free agreement remains in force in China.
