Circular on Rotation of Tail Number Plate of No-Driving Vehicles
 

We hereby announce that,
According to Circular of the Beijing Municipal People's Government on Implementing Traffic Management Measures to Restrict Regional Traffic in Rush Hour on Working Days, with approval of Beijing Municipal Government, it is decided to divide all the tail plate numbers of no-driving vehicles in regional rush hours on working days from April the 10th, 2011 to April the 10th , 2012,  into 5 groups, on a 13-week rotating basis

I. From April the 10th , 2011 to July the 9th , 2011, the tail plate numbers of vehicles from Monday to Friday are 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9, 5 and 0, 1 and 6 respectively(including provisional number plates, and license plate numbers ended in alphabet shall be treated as 0, similarly hereinafter);

II.From July the 10th , 2011 to October the 8th , 2011, the tail plate numbers of no-driving vehicles from Monday to Friday are 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9, 5 and 0 respectively;

III. From October the 9th, 2011 to January the 7th, 2012, the tail plate numbers of no-driving vehicles from Monday to Friday are 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9 respectively;

IV. From January the 8th, 2012 to April the 10th, 2012, the tail plate numbers of no-driving vehicles from Monday to Friday are 4 and 9, 5 and 0, 1 and 6, 2 and 7, 3 and 8 respectively.

According to Circular of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau on Traffic Control of Non-Local Passenger Vehicles to Enter the Capital, the rotation of tail plate number for no-driving vehicles stipulated above also applies to non-local passenger vehicles to enter the capital from 09:00 to 17:00 hours on working days.
