Vice Mayor Xia Zhanyi

The previous leadership positions Mr. Xia Zhanyi held include Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Yanggezhuang Commune, Shunyi County, Secretary of the CPC Shaling Commune Committee, Shunyi County, Secretary of the CPC Shaling Township Committee, Shunyi County, Director of the Office of Finance and Trade of Shunyi County Government, Standing Member and Director-General of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shunyi County Committee, Director of Shunyi County Ethical Enhancement Office, Standing Member and Director-General of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shunyi District Committee, Deputy Secretary and then Secretary of the CPC Shunyi District Committee, Secretary of the Political and Legislative Affairs Committee of the CPC Shunyi District Committee. In January 2009, Mr. Xia was elected Vice Mayor of Beijing.

Responsibilities: Mr. Xia Zhanyi is in charge of rural work, agriculture, water, parks and forestation.
