Resume of Vice-Mayor Sui Zhenjiang

Mr. Sui Zhenjiang, of Han nationality, born in Dawa, Liaoning Province in August 1963, joined the Communist Party of China in April 1984 and started his career in August 1985. He is an economic analyst, obtained his master’s degree in Economics (majoring in Enterprise Management) from an in-service graduate program at the Capital University of Economics and Business; and is currently Vice Mayor of Beijing, and Member of the Party Leadership Group of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality.

The previous leadership positions he held include:

Deputy Manager of Beijing Xicheng District Urban Development Company;

Deputy Director of Xicheng District Administrative Committee for Urban Development;

Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of Xicheng District Bureau for Urban Planning and Management; concurrently Deputy Director of Xicheng District Administrative Committee for Urban Development;

Deputy District Mayor and Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Xicheng District Committee;

Deputy Secretary-General (director-general level) of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality;

Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director-General of Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban-Rural Development;

Member of the Party Leadership Group and concurrently the Director of the “2008” Construction Projects Command Office;

Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director-General of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development;

Deputy Party Secretary, Acting District Mayor and then District Mayor and Party Secretary of Beijing Haidian District; and Concurrently the Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park.
