Resume of Vice-Mayor Yang Bin
Mr. Yang Bin, Han ethnicity, Vice Mayor of Beijing and Member of the Party Leadership Group of Beijing Municipal Government.
Born in Changyi, Shandong Province in December 1961, Mr. Yang started his career in September 1983 and then joined the Communist Party of China in May 1985. He graduated from Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture with a Bachelor’s Degree in Water Supply and Drainage. He received a PhD Degree of Economics (majoring in Industrial Economics) from an in-service graduate program at Renmin University of China, and now holds the professional title of Professor-level Senior Engineer.
The previous leadership positions Mr. Yang Bin held include: Deputy Manager, Deputy Secretary of the Party General Branch and Manager of Beijing First Urban Construction Development Group; Deputy Manager of Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd; Deputy General Manager of Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd; Deputy Party Secretary, Board Director and General Manager of Beijing Subway Construction Management Co., Ltd; Standing Party Committee Member, Board Director, and Deputy General Manager of Beijing Subway Construction Co., Ltd; Party Secretary and Chairman of Beijing Railway Construction and Management Co., Ltd; Deputy Party Secretary and Director-General of Beijing Major Projects Construction Headquarters Office; Party Secretary and Director-General of Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-rural Development; Secretary of CPC Tongzhou District Committee.
