Resume of Vice-Mayor Wang Hong
Mme. Wang Hong was born in Xingcheng, Liaoning Province in May 1962, of the Man nationality. She started her career in August 1986 and joined the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomingdang in April 2000. Mme. Wang received a bachelor’s degree (majoring in International Finance) from Liaoning University, a master’s degree in public administration, and holds the professional title of Senior Economist. She now serves as Members of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Vice Chairperson of the Central Committee and Chairperson of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese KMT Revolutionary Committee, Vice Mayor of Beijing, and Vice Chairperson of the Counselors’ Office of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
The previous leadership positions she held include:
Assistant Consultant of the Second Division, Deputy Director of Non-trade Foreign Exchange Division of Supervision and Inspection Department, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange;
Deputy Director, then Director of General Affairs Division, Director of Activity Supervision Division of Current Account Management Department, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange;
Deputy District Mayor of Shijingshan District;
Director General of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work;
Vice Chairperson of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese KMT Revolutionary Committee.
