Vice Mayor Ding Xiangyang

The previous leadership positions Mr. Ding Xiangyang held include Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of Ministry of Energy, Deputy Director of the General Management Division of the Personnel Department of Ministry of Coal Industry, Director-level official in the General Management Division of the Research Office and then Director-level Secretary and Deputy Director-General of the General Office of State Economic and Trade Commission, Deputy Director-General-level Secretary and then Director-General-level Secretary of the General Office of the State Council, Deputy Secretary-General of Beijing Municipal Government, Director-General of Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Planning, Director-General of Beijing Municipal Commission of Development and Reform. In March 2007, Mr. Ding was elected Vice Mayor of Beijing.

Responsibilities: Mr. Ding Xiangyang is in charge of civil affairs, human resources and social security, health, population and family planning, social development and tourism.
