Vice Mayor Liu Jingmin

Mr. Liu Jingmin had worked at Beijing No. 6 Construction Company and Machine Repair Factory before his career with Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League ( CYL ) where he was appointed Director of Publicity Department and Deputy Secretary. He later served as Deputy Director-General of the General Office of the Coordination Committee for Party, Government, Military, Schools and Civil Society to Work Together to Build a Civilized Capital”, Deputy Secretary and Secretary of the CPC Xuanwu District Committee and Mayor of Xuanwu District, Assistant Mayor of Beijing. In January 1998, he was elected vice mayor of Beijing.

Responsibilities: Mr. Liu Jingmin is responsible for the follow-up work of BOCOG, public safety, justice, sport, legal affairs and handling of complaints.
