Vice Mayor Liu Jingmin

Mr. Liu Jingmin worked as the Secretary of the Communist Youth League, Vice Party Secretary and Party Secretary of the CPC Machine Repairing Factory Branch, Party Secretary of the CPC Team No. 2 of the Third Construction Section, and Vice Party Secretary of the CPC of the Third Construction Section and Party Secretary of the CPC of the Construction Site Organ of Beijing Great Wall Hotel of the Beijing No. Six Construction Company; Publicity Commissioner, Department Director, Vice Secretary of the CYL Beijing Municipal Committee; Deputy Chief of the Coordination Committee Office of "Building a Civilized Capital with the joint effort of CPC, the Government, the Army, Citizens and Students"; Vice Party Secretary, Party Secretary of the CPC Xuanwu District Committee; Head of the Xuanwu District People's Government; Assistant Mayor of the Beijing Municipal People's Government. In January 1998, he was appointed to (or) (assumed) the present position.

Responsibilities and duties: Mr. Liu Jingmin currently presides over government work related to the preparations for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
