Vice Mayor Gou Zhongwen

The previous leadership positions Mr. Gou Zhongwen held include Deputy Director of No.29 Research Institute of Ministry of Mechanical and Electronic Industry and Deputy Director of No.29 Research Institute of Ministry of Electronic Industry, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Science and Technology and Quality Supervision of Ministry of Electronic Industry, Director-General, Deputy Party Secretary and then Party Secretary of the Centre for Research and Development of Computer and Microelectronics of Ministry of Electronic Industry, President of China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID), Deputy Minister of Information Industry. In April 2008, Mr. Gou was elected Vice Mayor of Beijing.

Responsibilities: Mr. Gou Zhongwen is in charge of science and technology, economy and informatization, quality and technology supervision, work safety, intellectual property rights, investment promotion, Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park, Beijing Development Area.
