To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, National Art Museum of China has selected from its collections some small framed oil paintings and classic watercolor paintings that were created over the past seven decades, with distinct subject connotations, unique national styles and characteristics of the times. Focusing on the theme of beautiful China, these works take scenery as the link, and patriotism as the core, expressing the new era and interpreting the truth, goodness and beauty with the classics.

The oil paintings are classic works of great masters, including Liu Haisu, Pang Xunqin, Yan Wenliang, Li Ruinian, Su Tianci, Wu Guanzhong, Zhu Naizheng and Jin Shangyi.
