Central Academy of Fine Arts Gallery (CAFA Gallery)

The Central Academy of Fine Arts Gallery (CAFA Gallery) is the special art museum of the school. It is located in the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Jiaowei Hutong, Wangfujing in Beijing. It is founded in 1960.The gallery systematically collects all kinds of artworks, mainly used in teaching and exhibitions,at the same time open to the public,including ancient masters' paintings and calligraphy, Chinese paintings since Qing Dynasty, oil paintings, engravings, sculptures, fine arts of the folks,and exhibitions of excellent works of CAFA students and faculty, including bronze,  pottery, sculptures, crafts and inscriptions and rubbings for cultural relics and pieces of copying of ancient wall paintings. Chinese ancient paintings exhibitions, oil painting collection exhibitions, exhibitions of excellent students' works, exhibitions of teachers' works, feature exhibitions of artists and international fine arts exchange exhibitions etc. are held irregularly.
