Organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China (MOST), China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China (SIPO) and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality and co-organized by CCPIT Beijing, the 21st China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) will be held through May 17 (Thursday) to 20 (Sunday) in Beijing under the theme “Take the Lead in Hi-tech Industries and Facilitate the Development of Innovation Centers”.
The 2018 Promotion Fair on Military-Civil Integration Industrial Cooperation Projects, organized by China Association for Promotion of Private Sci-Tech Enterprises (CAPPSE) and co-organized by Beijing Jindu Xinda Information Service Center in cooperation with related industrial parks, military enterprises and hi-tech companies will take place as one of the business talks during this year’s session. The 714th Research Institute of CSIC and Beijing Technology Market Association will also offer strong supports.
Under the theme “New Thoughts and New Opportunities on Innovation-Driven Development and Civil-Military Integration in the New Era”, the 2018 Promotion Fair on Military-Civil Integration Industrial Cooperation Projects will rely on the weights and resources of CHITEC, implementing new policies and measures of the State on innovation-driven development and civil-military integration in the first year following the 19th CPC National Congress. It will also promote the conversion of military technologies for civil use, civil participation in the military industry and cooperation over civil-military integration projects.
It is reported that this year’s Promotion Fair will feature authoritative interpretation of military-civil integration policies, analysis and release of information about military needs, exchanges between military authorities and local enterprises, presentation and resource matchmaking of equipment manufacturing projects, comments on the development trend of key technologies and excellent projects. Nearly 100 entities, including pertinent departments, scientific research institutions and high-tech enterprises will take part in the event.
