Wen Qian-Gang Was born on Oct.22,1941; birth place: Liaoning pprovince. Beijing Class A Artistic Master.

In 1961, Wen Qian-gang graduated at Beijing arts & crafts vocational school. Then he entered into Beijing carved lacquer ware factory to engage in design & creation of carved lacquer ware. Now Wen Qian-gang holds the general technician in the factory.

Wen Qian-gang goes into carved lacquer`s design , producing and technical management more than 40 years , his attainments of carved lacquer`s workmanship is quite high. He is a very capable designer. He designed and created a lot of high quality carved lacquer handicrafts, enjoys high prestige at home and abroad. Since 80`s in 20 century, he designs & creates mainly three dimensional carved lacquer wares and some important gifts of carved lacquer. In1999£¬to congratulate Macau return motherland, he is a head of a group, design and manufacture a big carved lacquer plate "Perfect Conjugal Bliss". Which is presented to Macau Special Administrative Region Government by Beijing Municipal People`s Government.

The works of "Jade Belt Bridge"won the "Excellent Creation Award"of 2001 Hanngzhou West Lake Expo and 2ND China Arts & Crafts Master Works & Fine Articles Expo.

In 2002, he designed carved lacquer works of "Thousand Yeas Famous Wine Bottle" obtained the excellent works prize of the 1ST China National Tourism Commodity Design Contest.

The carved lacquer works "Tianqiu Vase" won the "Gold Medal" of 2002 Hangzhou West Lake Expo and 3RD China National Arts & Crafts Master Works & Fine Articles Expo.
