The 21st cherry blossom culture festival with the theme of  "spring comes to Yuyuantan" will be held from March 25 to April 30, 2009 in the Yuyuantan Park (the specific period will depend on the blooming effect of the flowers). On this occasion, 2000 cherry blossom trees of 20 varieties, cherry blossom enjoyment in the evening, an auto show, visits to the park, talent show, appreciation of cherry blossoms and an exhibition on construction of the park will give you a happy time in the spring. The park will also hold the 6th photo contest about the spring in Yuyuantan" during the period and continue to invite people to help grow cherry blossom trees.

Time of enjoying the beauty of the flowers: first stage: early cherry blossoms: late March, and only 7 days for appreciation.

To East gate: By Bus 68, 320, 114 or 717 and get off at Yuyuantan Stop;

To West gate: By Bus 300 and get off at Hangtian Bridge; or By Bus 8 Special, 332 Branch, 368, 323 or 374, (get off at the Bayi Lake from south to north, and at Fucheng Rd from north to south)
To the West gate under the bridge: By Bus 40
