What are included in tap water charge?
It consists of tap water charge, sewage treatment charge and water resource charge.
Checking cycle and water price finalization.
For households which have been included in "Household Meter Checking", the checking and billing cycle is two months; for residential buildings and bungalows which are not ready to be included in “Household Meter Checking”, the checking and billing cycle is one month; for non-resident water users, the checking and billing cycle is also one month. Water price shall be in conformity to the provisions of the municipal price control authorities.
How to check water consumption volume on meter?
1. Measuring unit of water meter is cubic meter (namely "ton"). Water meter indication below cubic meter can not be checked, and the actual water consumption volume of the current month is obtained by subtracting the water meter reading of the previous month from that of this month.
2. Water meter adopts decimal progressive count. For example, readings of household water meters include: four-digits such as unit digit, tens digit, hundreds digit and kilobit (black plate); the calculation unit is cubic meters (tons), below cubic meters there are four-digits such as 1/l0, 1/l00, l/1000, 1/10000 (red plate). Checker must grasp binary method when checking water meters, tens digit can not carry if the unit digit does not come to "0"; binary methods of other digits shall be done in the same way.
How do residential users pay water charge?
Since the implementation of "Household Meter Checking", household meter is also the billing meter. The Water Group shall issue water bill to users after meter checking; users can pay the bill at the offices and branches of 16 banks and financial institutions such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China within 10 days, and can also go to various sales branches of the Water Group, Yu Tong Municipal Engineering Company or project department of jurisdictional districts for payment.
What should I do if the water bill is lost?
Users shall provide water charge receipt for the recent one month, or the accurate address, account name and the month during which the water bill was lost. Countermen will help you reprint the bill and the payment can be made in the company. If the bills can not be reprinted then, countermen shall fill in re-checking sheet, inform water supply salesman to deliver water bills to you within 3 days.
Ways for users to apply for repair.
Users can dial 96116, the water supply service hotline of the Water Group, to apply for repair. When the hotline received repair call, attendants will record repair location, name, and contact number, then divide the application in accordance with repair type and region, and send repair task sheet to various maintenance offices.
