Beijing is often associated with the Wall, Tianmen Square, Summer Palace etc... but for me, the Station is where you find the "real" Beijing! The madness, the crowds and a true reflection of the comment "organised chaos". Beijing is the place where you can find Ancient thriving on Modern. It's where the whole of China wants to be- a city in the race for a better future, but a city that isn't letting go of history or custom any time soon.
Although not an obvious picture to depict "Beijing" This is my flip card to the previous photo. Although Beijing can get pretty crazy at the worst of times, the best of time, it offers more than you can imagine.

(Picture 2. Solitude at the Temple of Heaven)
My day at the Temple of Heaven was a day of complete solitude. There was none of the usual China-hassle and it was pure peace. Beijing offers history, scenic views and an amazing sense of character. You just don't get bored in Beijing because whatever you want, whenever you want- its right there. To me, Beijing is living history!
