Beijing subway line 4 starts operation today

A new subway line, Line 4, will begin carrying passengers at 3:00 pm today, according to qianlong.com.

With a total length of 28.2 km, Subway Line 4 runs through Beijing's four districts  from Fengtai district, south of the city to Haidian, in the northwest. The line has 24 stops and a one-way run takes about 47 minutes.
