An Experience Tour of Haidian's Cultural Heritage

Theme:
The tour has been created to promote cultural tourism in Beijing's Haidian District. It has several goals, particularly, to act as a tour experience survey, to serve as a promoter for the creation of photos and travel notes by tourists which will then be published online.

Contents:
The tour is sponsored by the Tourism Bureau of Haidian District and is composed of tour routes which link many of Haidian’s special tourism resources. The tour requires about 30 to 40 participants. Participants will experience the tour, take photos video and write travel notes. The activities are free of charge.

Tour Route:
(2 hours) Visit the Royal gardens - the Summer Palace Wenchang Yuan. Enjoy the beautiful heritage of classical gardens.
(1.5-2 hours) Visit the Beijing University Museum of Art and Archaeology.
Lunch provided.
(2 hours) An afternoon visit to the YuanMingYuan Park. View restored artifacts and participate in an on-site archaeological program, in memorial of the 150th anniversary of the destruction of the Palace.

Media Participation and Publishing of Experience:
So that as many people as possible can experience the rich cultural heritage of this tour, we will be publishing your experience of the tour online, including your documentation and related media. Those participating in the tour should photograph, video, and write a travel diary of experiences. These documents will then be published online at eBeijing.gov.cn.
