I worked at People's Hospital of Rizhao City in Shandong Province as a professor of department of pediatrics. After retirement, I had been retired at the hospital for 12 years. Last year, I went to Beijing to visit my children. My children worried about my life in Shangdong province and requested me to stay with them in Beijing from then on. I love my work. Although doctor' work is exhausting and I'am aged, I become extremely passionate whenever I encountered critically ill patients. When I rescued patients from death or saw the smiling faces of recovered children, I feel long-lasting happiness and excitement from the bottom of my heart. I want to still pursuit a meaning life and actualize my own personal worth at this stage of my life. After long deliberation and agreement of my children, I handed in my resume to the Second Hospital of Chaoyang District of Beijing and was employed after examination. But considering my safety and the bad weather, my children requested me to stop working again last winter. At the present time I participate in Tuanjiehu Foreign Languages Association and take part in some volunteer work. In the evening, I provide patients with disease consultation online. Besides, I write medical science blog with my experience. Sharing my knowledge with patients and giving them help as well as warmth is the best I can do now. I get great solace and comfort after their recovery.

我原在山东省日照市人民医院（三级医院）小儿内科教授，已退休12年了，一直返聘在医院上班，去年来京，孩子怕我只身一人在山东早晚有何不测，不叫我回去了，在北京我很无奈，一个病人的心结使我不能释怀，想，人老了精神不能老，怎么渡过夕阳？我热爱我已经从事52的儿科，尽管医生很辛苦，尽管年老，但每当我遇到病危的病人，心中就喷发出了无限的激情，当我把频临死亡线上病人抢救好之后，抑或治愈后的孩子绽放出笑脸时，它给了我的快乐、兴奋是悠长的，我希望老骥伏枥，在工作中去体味晚霞的自身价值，人只要有追求，老年人的生活照样有意义，也会感受晚霞中的彩虹！我渴望再为患病撑起一把伞，几经踌躇，在征得孩子意见后，我在网上查北京朝阳第二医院招聘儿科医生，我带着我的材料去，二院考核审查后聘请了我，但冬天时候孩子怕我不安全又不让我去了，刻下我参加了北京市团结湖英语志愿者协会，参加一些外语服务的志愿者活动，晚上回来网上为病人提供疾病咨询，用我的经验编写医学科普博客，把知识经验和病人共享，为那些病痛中的病人送去一点温暖，为之雪中送炭吧，而我却收获了病人痊愈后的一点抚慰，这是我目前的唯一所能！间或写点散文点缀一下。
