"KINGS OF GUIZHOU AND QUEENS OF VALAIS"
How is it that men so far away from one another practice similar customs?
The Swiss photographer Petri de Pità was struck by the similarity between the fighting cows in Switzerland and the fighting buffaloes in China. He spent several months traveling across the pastures of Valais to discover the battles of "Queens" and the rice paddies of Guizhou, where buffaloes are called "King".
A comparative black and white photo report on the passions of men, their relationship with animals and their hopes, between China and Switzerland.
Opening on Friday 9th January at 6.30pm
